California Pizza Kitchen

My sister is here in town visiting for the weekend, and we just had to go to CPK, considering she'd never eaten at the restaurant before. She's eaten their frozen pizzas at the grocery store, but eating it fresh is very different!
This was our night. I will tell the story with pics:

We had a great time, and the pizza was delicious! It was fun! Jack needed some distracting...but all in all it was lots of fun!

Tuesday

This was taken this morning in our bed. He had gotten tired and wanted to take a nap, but I was all snuggly and warm in my covers, so I wasn't moving! So he crashed on our bed. After a few minutes of being asleep, he sprawled into this position!! His head was right in Danny's armpit and his feet were slowly pushing me off the bed! Little stinker. But he's my angel so I can't be too mad. After that he managed too....



Read the paper.....



Play with my tennis shoe...



Read a book...



And bring me a frying pan!

Oh and did I mention it's snowing...



Yup!! And me and Jax went outside to dance around in it...



And he got snowflakes that stayed on his nose and eyelashes:)
These are a few of my favorite things:)
And Jackson managed to accomplish them all in about 5 hours!!

Favorite time of day

Bet you can't guess what Jackson's favorite time of day is!!

It's not when daddy gets home from work, although that's probably a close second.

Jackson--a.k.a the messy baby

Jackson loves getting messy. I guess that's just what babies do, but I guess I never realized just how messy he'd get. Here are some examples from the last few days:

Thank goodness for bibs, otherwise his clothes would be plastered in it as well!

Pumpkin waffles

I made pumpkin waffles this morning:):)
They turned out soooooo good!!
Best part is Jackson loves them:)

the oatmeal cookie

so we went to our ward Halloween party tonight, it was fun. we had chilli dogs and salad for dinner, and then me and Jackson got to run off and go do some fun activities. in the classrooms they had activities set up for kids to do to get treats.  There was a kissing booth, where they handed out Hershey kisses, we got to have our picture taken, there was Halloween story time, Boo-ling, and ring toss, and we got to do a cookie walk:)
At the cookie walk, our number got picked and i helped Jackson walk over to the treat table and I let him choose his own cookie amidst the billions of cookies set across the table. he choose a oatmeal cookie:) he promptly devoured it on our way home, and by the time we arrived back home there was nothing left! ( just so you know we live exactly 11/2 minutes away from our ward building). needless to say he was happy. he only went to bed an hour later than he normally would, so we did really good. now he is in bed and sleeping soundly!

Church

Yesterday after a long day at church I got out of the car and saw this:

And even though it was insanely cold and rainy, we were happy!
In the afternoon on Saturday, I was wearing slippers cuz it was cold, and Jackson thought it was hilarious to steal them off my feet! This is him in action:

I don't know if you can see his super cheesy grin, but he was pretty proud of himself...and he really likes my slippers!! Lol

Ooooo..and on Friday evening our friend Leah Freeman came into town and took our picture:) we are so excited to see how they turned out, we should have them in about a week or so:):)
