So for the 4th we had Natalie and Brian come over in the evening and we BBQ-ed and did fireworks and let the kids play in the pool!
First earlier that week, me and mom, and my friend Betsy had a craft night. We made firecrackers!!! how cute are they? mine is the one on the left, mom's in the middle, and Betsy's on the right! They came out really good.
(sorry is picture isn't right side up....my phone is acting up and i can't get it to rotate, oh well)
Jackson loves doing "sparkles" (aka sparklers) so of course we had a do a bunch of those!
Then we did more bigger fireworks with Natalie and Brian. this first one is of Brian and Addy lighting the fireworks...

We also spent the that previous Saturday evening watching stadium of fire! that video a a few more others to come! and that's how we spent the 4th of July!
Jessica, Jessica, Jessica... if you're going to be married to a southern boy you have to get it right. BBQ isn't something you DO, it's something you EAT. And that something you EAT is a pit-cooked pig. :-) If you haven't had good BBQ get Danny to take you somewhere while you're in SC. Like Maurice's, even though he's a bigot.
