Oh so much to blog about

There is so much to share! It's been over a month since I blogged and I've missed so much, I will try my hardest over the next few days to try and catch up. The main reason why I haven't been blogging is cuz I've got lots going on. Over Christmas time my mom moved here and we found a house for rent that we loved, and so the last few weeks have been non-stop packing and moving. I'm exhausted! Phew!
Jackson was my big helper:

I also have been working hard on making a family yearbook for Danny's side of the family, as well as an entire year of jackson's life in picture book form, for my mom and Danny. They were supposed to be ready around Christmas, but unfortunately it's still in the works!
I also participated in The Sketchbook Project (see pic of finished book below), and that was due Jan 15th, so I've really had my hands full!!!

Anyway, we had a fun Christmas!! Filled with Jackson opening lots of presents:)

He especially loved Potsy!! It was the prefect present since he loves pretending to cook with mummy's pots and pans!!

That pretty much sums up the things that have been going on... More to come soon....

Jackson is 1!!!!

It's Jackson's birthday today, and he is 1 year old! Yesterday was Sunday and since my mom left for Missouri this morning, we celebrated a little last night!
First up chocolate cake!!!

Funny story: we put a single candle on the cake and sang to him, and I helped blow out the candle. As soon as the flame was out he got terrified and ran away. I guess the action of blowing out the candle terrifies him, because I did it again later and he ran away crying.

Anyways he also got to open a present:) that was fun! I didn't get a picture, but you get the idea!
All in all, it was a pretty good day!!! I can't believe my baby is one today! Seems like just yesterday he came home from the hospital with me! I love him so much:)

Candy canes

As you can see from my previous post, Jackson did not like Santa Clause. In fact he was terrified! The only thing that made it better was that Santa gave him a candy cane:) he's never seen or eaten a candy cane before, but he knew it was candy!!! He tried to devour it through the wrapper, and when I showed him how to take the wrapper off, there was no going back. He was covered in peppermint slobber! He loves them.
So I guess it's no surprise that he would try to take the fake candy canes off our Christmas tree and try to eat them! he gets mad when I take them away because they are plastic and he gets sad. I keep telling him they are fake, but he just wants one so bad he keeps going back for more:)
Anyway that's my story for today, hope it makes you smile:)

Oh and P.S.--Jackson turns one in exactly one week!!! December 13th is going to be a dream come true for my little man! Presents and cake! Who can refuse that?!

Last night me and Danny put up the Christmas tree!!!! Yay

Then after Danny got off work this evening we went to our ward Christmas party!

And got candy....

Jackson had a hard time...

He thought Santa was so scary! poor thing:(
Other than Jax being sad about Santa, we had a pretty sweet time! Now Jax is sound asleep, and I'm playing games:)

The rest

Turkey is delicious! Here's proof:

Our dinner came out super yummy! I was super proud of us! We also had yummy drinks:

Calm down people! that's sparkling apple cider, silly!
And of course I had to share some with Jax:

He was in heaven:):) also notice he's naked...That's because the first glass he dumped all over his clothes!
Jackson loved turkey dinner and had 3 helpings of everything:) such a hood baby! It was the best family dinner we've ever sat down to as a family!
After our tummies settled a bit we had some pumpkin pie:)

Doesn't that look heavenly?

Then we gave Jack Jack a bath and he was really having a good time:

Then I had another drink, and read the black Friday ads...

Then shared with Danny

Hee hee...

Yummo!!! That was our night, in a nutshell:)

Happy thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is here! Turkeys in the oven, pumpkin pie is baked and all the deliciousness is about to be ready!
Now for some pics of Jax from this morning!
